First of all the talk was great and it was organized very well, the first thing that came to mind was when we were asked to consult our peers in defining three words. I was sitting next to two professors both of different departments and we were all of different generations and all of us had different definitions of the same words and that was truly fantastic because when you think of a word you think that the definition is set in stone but actually all of our definitions were different from each other. Secondly there was like a mini game of sorts that required us to vote and I found that part of the talk was very fun to see other colleagues and professors that have different Digital skills for example some people didn’t revise their privacy settings on Facebook while revise them frequently. It was really interesting to see how each one of us has different digital skills that can be applied in day-to-day life. Thirdly there was a survey that let you know what your digital profile was all about the findings were very interesting as I found out that I am mostly comfortable about communication and collaboration competent about identity and well-being hopefully in the future I hope to enhance my digital skills and confidence on each of the categories that were presented. Finally, we stood and were taken to many different boards where I read several good ideas and I was sure to upvote the ideas that I liked. In The end I really enjoyed the talk and it was fun and interesting to collaborate with professor’s, faculty, and peers and I am hoping to attend the next talk.
